"Worship The Key to God’s Heart"

Preface

Worship is the key to Gods heart. It is the key to an intimate relationship with God. I am convinced that He wants His children to have the victory in every area of life. He wants to give you the desires of your heart. Are you willing to spend some quality time, intimacy alone with God…worshiping and praising Him… acknowledging Him for who He is? When you are willing to spend time in His presence, worshiping and praising God, you will be amazed at what happens.
There was a time when I did not know how important worship was in the life of a believer. I didn’t understand what true worship was all about. I was an emotional worshiper. I loved to go to church and during the worship service I would get emotional. But I found out that there is more to worship…that the true worship is not an emotional thing…it comes from the heart… it comes from the spirit. The true worshiper acknowledges God for who He is. True worship will touch the heart of God and it will help you to develop intimacy with God. When I learned the things about worship that I am going to share in this book, my life changed and I have experienced so many blessings. I found that worship is the answer to receiving all of the blessing that God has for me. The more I worship God, the more He pours out His blessings.

"My Way or God’s Way"

PREFACE

is the story about my life. I didn’t feel led to write my autobiography until several friends asked me about it. "I don’t know why," I would tell them, "I just never felt lead". But suddenly one day I felt led to do it. This is what I feel the Lord wants me to do. I made a lot of mistakes in life before and after I became a Christian, and even as a minister, because most of my life I did it my way. When Frank Sinatra came out with the song "I did it My Way", I thought it was written just for me. The first part of the book is about my life growing up without direction… the mistakes and the wrong decisions I made that led me into a life that caused a lot of pain to many people, some of them my loved ones. Many people rebel against their family and society like I did, but God's love is so great that He sometimes takes extreme measures to gain our attention… and our heart. The caterpillar that lies inside the cocoon will never become a beautiful butterfly if someone cuts open the cocoon prematurely. It is the struggle itself that allows the butterfly to emerge as a strong, new creature of nature. God understands us and how necessary this process is to our spiritual growth. That is why we are allowed to experience these difficult, often life-changing events. He even orchestrates them… all for our benefit. My desire is to help others who may have come from the same environment and may be going through the same thing that I went through to give them hope that God can change their lives too. It is also for any believer that may not be aware of the pitfalls that most new Christians are faced with. Paul said in 2 Co 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." That is true, but it is the spirit man that is a new creation. The spirit is born of God. 1 John 3:9 says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." That’s just the beginning. We all have to go through a period of transformation. t like eating a banana where you peel away the skin eat it the banana, throw away the skin, and its all over. It’s more like an onion. You peel away a layer; it hurts; a little part of you dies. You cry a little then you peel away another layer, and you go through the same process. The spirit of man is born again not the soul. James 1:21 tells us that. "Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls." That’s the main thing I want to talk about in this book!

"God’s Blueprint for Success"

PREFACE

God wants all of His children to succeed and we can do so if we follow His plan, His "Blueprint for Success". Many of us begin our careers with the goal of achieving success. If we haven't entered our work as a result of God's calling, we will eventually face a chasm of deep frustration and emptiness. Success flatters but does not provide a lasting sense of purpose and fulfillment. So often we enter careers with wrong motives… money, prestige, and even pressure from parents or peers. Failing to match our work with our giftedness and calling is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. If that happens over an extended period, a person crashes.

The prophet Hosea tells us, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as My priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children", Hos. 4:6.  God has given us His Word that has specific laws and principles that must be followed if we expect His blessing. If you are not living a prosperous and successful Christian life, you need to read this book. I hope it will help you follow God’s plan to true success

"Don’t Bury the Worms"

PREFACE

Several months after "The Worms That Spoil the Fruit" was published, I decided to write another book to broaden the understanding of the worms, and demonstrate the importance of developing the nine virtues that are listed in Gal. 5:22-23, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control; the "fruit of the spirit". Titled this book, "Don’t Bury the Worms" because one of the characteristics of our human nature is that when we can’t deal with a problem we bury it. But that doesn’t solve the problem. Character flaws like anger, bitterness and unforgivness (the worms) must be dealt with so that we can reach the full potential in our Christian walk… which is to develop the fruit of the spirit.

As I mentioned in my first book, the worm of self-centered pride is the root of the problem. In this book, I will put emphasis on the worm of self-centered pride… the worm that I believe is one of the greatest stumbling blocks for many Christians and the root of all the problems that we have in the world we live in today. I will also go into more detail on how or why we develop character flaws and take another look at those worms and how to deal with them. My prayer is that this book will help any believer who is serious about reaching his full potential in his service to God identify any character flaws and learn the importance of developing the fruit of the Spirit.

"Faith That Pleases God"

PREFACE

Jesus said: in Matt. 18: 3 "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." This book "Faith That Pleases God" Will open the eyes of many Christians to the simplicity of the kind of faith that Pleases God. "Child like faith"

Hebrews 11:6 tells us: "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." A child has a blind faith, they believe, they have no doubt and that is what pleases God. Galatians 5:6 tells us "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. "Faith working through love’", Child like faith works through love.

Every one of God’s promises has a condition, and that’s what I will be talking about in this book. I will be talking about the hindrances that will short circuit your faith. I will tell you about a man of God who had faith to move a mountain, a true story and his testimony of how God moved a mountain for him.

"The Heart of A Servant"

PREFACE

"When Jesus had washed their feet and put on his clothes, he sat down again and spoke to them, "Do you realize what I have just done to you? You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘Lord’ and you are quite right for I am your teacher and your Lord. But if I, your teacher and Lord, have washed your feet, you must be ready to wash one another’s feet. I have given you this as an example so that you may do as I have done", John 13:12-15. Jesus set an example for us when He washed the disciples’ feet. "For the Son of Man himself has not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life to set many others free", Mark10:45. That’s what every Christian is called to do… first, to be a servant and second, to lead others to Jesus… "To set many others free".
There have been many good books written about leadership by authors with much more knowledge then I have. This book is centered on simple, basic, and easy to understand leadership principals that I’ve learned through my personal experience. As servants we are subject to the needs of those we are called to lead. To become an effective leader we must be submissive to one another… clothed with humility and imbued with integrity. We must learn to be vulnerable with others and develop an ability to share feelings…to have perseverance. We must be fully committed. Learning when to move and when to stand is the greatest challenge for effective leadership. To develop the heart of a servant a leader has to be willing to examine himself.
All this is made possible by the indwelling presence of God, the Holy Spirit. Without diligence, we will stumble and fall. With it, we will survive and conquer. I titled this book, "The Heart of a Servant" to show, as the above scriptures tell us… that this is the true basis for effective leadership. These very basic principals covered in this book are backed up with scriptures and stories about men and woman of God in the Bible. And there are some true stories about people today that illustrate these basic principals of becoming an effective leader. A true leader exercises spiritual leadership with the heart of a servant.

"The Worms That Spoil the Fruit"

PREFACE

I titled this book "The Worms That Spoil the Fruit", and in it I talk about the worms that will hinder the fruit bearing process in the life of a believer - the worms of pride, anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness.

The first part of this book deals with the worm of pride, the enemy of the soul, and how it can hinder the fruit bearing process in our lives. It shows how pride can cause us to fall from God’s grace and talks about people in the bible, and in life today - people like you and me - who had the worm of pride, and it outlines the steps we must take to avoid the pitfall.

The second part deals with the worms of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness - the worms that not only hinder our spiritual growth and the fruit bearing process, but also hinder us from receiving God’s healing love. It explains how these worms are intermingled, how they can affect us and how most of us struggle to overcome them. The third part looks at people who received healing of the heart because they allowed God to help them let go of the anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness they were carrying, and people who lost their healing when they let those hurts come back. Their experience should help us to understand more about ourselves and answer some of the questions we may have about physical healing, which often is a byproduct of healing of the heart.
And the fourth part of the book deals with understanding the nature of the problem - how to deal with it and how to resolve it. It takes you to the root of the problem, the worm of self centered pride - the same worm that caused Satan to fall from heaven - and ends with the final solution to the problem. My prayer is that this book will help others to understand why it can be difficult for some people to develop the nine virtues that are listed in Gal 5:22-23, the fruit of the spirit, "Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control".

TESTIMONY LETTERS

I'm from Victory Outreach Victorville, CA. on September 29 2002 Evangelist Joe Contaldi came to our church to give a Seminar on self centered pride, anger, bitterness, un forgiveness, and guilt. At that time I was dealing with a lot of anger, a week before Joe came to do the seminar, I tried to kill my husband. I was very angry with the lord and just wanted to give up. But that day during the seminar the Lord began to deal with me, and following the seminar during the worship and healing service as Joe was ministering he called. me out and began to pray for me and I was delivered from the anger and I let the Lord take away all my problems an I now have peace, thank you Jesus. So if you have any anger give it to the Lord I did, and I recommend Joes book it has helped me and my husband to deal with our problems. And praise God on Feb. 10 2002 my husband got saved. God answered my prayers, all things are possible with God to those who believe.

The answers too many of my personal problems, were non-existent. It was until I received a copy of the Book by Joe Contaldi entitled "The Worms That Spoil The Fruit", and begin reading it, that I discover the real root, and the real issues to many if not all of my life’s problems and issues. Upon reading Joe’s book, "The Worms That Spoil The Fruit", I found the answer to what I so desperately needed at the time. It’s truly a divinely inspired work of literature and I personally believe it carries a message for all people in all walks of life of hope, of courage, and of love.

Joe Contaldi's book "The Worms That Spoil The Fruit" is well written and easy to read.  Throughout the book you glimpse into the authors heart, for he wrote from his own experiences-good and bad alike. He teaches you how to recognize the worms that may be in your life and how to get rid of them.  None of us need to live with pride, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness or guilt.  When we are honest with ourselves to recognize these worms in our own lives then we can rid the fruit of worms, and live whole, healthy lives the way God intended. We feel that this book should be in the library of every Christian as a great teaching tool.

After reading the book, The Worms that spoil The Fruit, I have never felt, and experienced so much deliverance, upon turning each page of the book. I was healed in many ways, and I might I add in some deep places that I did not even know about. The book is a must read the body, I am an X prostitute and Drug addict, who can say that this book is defiantly a gift to the body Of Christ all over the world, I cannot stress that enough. I do know that many people will not pick it up to read it unless they are ready to get really real with self, and God. Thanks Brother Joe for your heart to write this book, I know that I will never be the same and I encourage every person who is dealing with people who are coming out of great trials and tribulation to get this book and give it to them. It will be the best book, other than the word of God you ever gave.
